| Born in San Francisco, CA on May 18, 1908. Julie Homberger studied at the California School of Fine Arts followed by study in New York City under Rico Lebrun and George Grocz. She married Frederick Rogers in 1931, divorced him in 1938 and married John Mason. She assisted Bernard Zakheim in the Coit Tower murals in 1934 and then moved to New York. In the late 1980s Mrs. Mason was dividing her time between Connecticut and Tobago in the West Indies where she was active as a (showing 500 of 1498 characters). |
