| | Born in Shreveport, LA on June 6, 1908. By the late 1930s Mrs. Hass had settled in Berkeley and was a pupil of Xavier Martinez at the CCAC. She was active locally into the 1960s. She died in Wilmette, IL on Aug. 9, 1982 and was buried in Oakland, CA.
