| June Harwood was born in Middletown, New York and received a Bachelor of Fine Art degree from Syracuse University and Master of Art degree from California State University at Los Angeles.
Her training at Syracuse University in the 50''s, with an emphasis on the formal aspects of painting, predicted her interest in Hard-Edge, a term coined by her late husband, California art critic, Jules Langsner. The transition from Hard Edge painting to landscapes began in the early 80''s with an interest (showing 500 of 986 characters). |
