| Painter. Born in the Sacramento Valley, CA in 1859. Allmond was artistically inclined at an early age; one of her pencil drawings was awarded at the California State Fair in 1872. She studied at the School of Design in San Francisco, NAD, and with John Ward Stimson. During the 1880s she maintained a studio in Sacramento. After her marriage to Charles A. Hulbert, she settled in South Egremont, MA where she remained until her death on April 14, 1939.
