Biography from AskART:
| | A fourth generation Coloradan, she grew up with animals and ranches and now lives in the Wind River valley southeast of Yellowstone Park. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Denver and then did illustraton in gouache for biology texts. In 1971, she moved to Wyomimg and served for seven years as regional representative for the Sierra Club. Then she turned to art full time and has won many awards in juried exhibitions. She completes her painting in the studio after much photography in the field. |
