| A member of the Comanche Indian tribe, Larry Hood became a painter of Indian subjects in watercolor, acrylic, pencil and prints. He signs his work L Hood with a buffalo skull symbol.
He was born in Lawton, Oklahoma and has remained there most of his life, except during service in the U.S. Marine Corps.
His work is in the Comanche Tribal Complex in Lawton and Andarko, Oklahoma, and Larry Hood has been featured in articles in Southwest Art magazine, June 1985 and October 1986.
