| Leo Millard Holub was born in Decatur, AR on Nov. 25, 1916. Holub studied at the Art Institute of Chicago (1935) and California School of Fine Arts (1938-40). Settling in San Francisco, he then served an apprenticeship with industrial designer, Jo Sinel. During the 1960s he taught photography at Stanford University. Holub died in San Francisco on April 27, 2010.
