Growing up in Sacramento, California, Lesley Harrison developed a
life-long love of animals, a subject that is the main focus of her
pastel painting. Also she occasionally paints wildlife such as
wolves and human portraits and figures.
Of her love of animals she says: "I have always sought to form
connections with animals, not merely study them. I'm not looking
for a portrait. I'm looking for a connection." (Coyner) She and
her sculptor husband, John Kel (showing 500 of 1286 characters). |
