| Born on March 26, 1868 in Madison, WI. Horlocker was a graduate of the University of Nebraska and studied art in Chicago, New York, Paris, and London. After working in New York for 15 years, she settled in Los Angeles in 1906 and established a studio in the Blanchard Bldg. Active in the local art scene, she taught china decorating and block printing, lectured locally, and acted as head of the arts and crafts division at the Los Angeles County Fairs. She also taught at the local ASL as well a (showing 500 of 838 characters). |
