In addition to her art, Hickok is listed in the June 1, 1895 San Francisco Call as a well-known elocutionist.  She is also credited as an actress in silent movies, notably the five-reel 1915 melodrama Flame of Passion.  By then a widow, she had shaved two years off her age and appears to be living and traveling with her son Rodney Hickok, who was active in films.  The two went on location to Jamaica in 1915 for Pearl of the Antilles, then worked their way b (showing 500 of 1445 characters).
