The son of a career Air Force officer, Marc Hanson became a wildlife artist who settled in Minnesota because it was the favorite place he lived when moving around as a child. He studied for five semesters at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, and then returned to Wabasha, Minnesota where his grandparents had lived. There he met his wife, Anne.
Hanson experimented with watercolor and oil paint and decided his favorite was oil medium, which he used with h (showing 500 of 3074 characters). |
