Marjorie Organ, born in Ireland in 1886, was one of the first female newspaper cartoonists in America, and an exhibitor in the famous 1913 Armory Show in New York City. She came with her family to the United States in 1899. She worked for the World and New York Journal, beginning in 1902 at an unusually young age. Her comic creations included "The Wrangle Sisters," "Reggie and the Heavenly Twins," and "Strange What a Difference a Mere Man Makes."

Marjorie Organ married painter Robert Henr (showing 500 of 1705 characters).
