| The artist M.A. Honeywell, was born without hands and had only three toes on one foot. She cut paper for her silhouettes and profiles by holding the scissors in her teeth, using her toes for steadiness and guidance. She also wrote and did embroidery that way, traveling through the U.S. and Europe, demonstrating her skills and selling her work.
