Born in Stuttgart, Germany, June 27, 1870, Max Hagendorn became a
painter, designer and art teacher. He was a pupil of Faller;
Kuertz; Seubert in Stuttgart; and of Gebhard Fugel in Munich.
Hagendorn studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts and
Industrial Arts in Stuttgart. He was Director of the Topeka
School of Art, 1912, living at 114 W. 8th.
