Milton Hirschl, a former Youngstowner, taught art at City College
in Los Angeles.
Mr. Hirschl, whose works were on display in Gallery C of the Butler
Institute, is a graduate of Ohio State University's school of fine
arts.
At one time he operated an art studio and taught art in
Youngstown.
He first won recognition for his prints and drawings during World War
II while serving with an infantry division. Displaced persons in
German camps and the Italians he saw (showing 500 of 1279 characters). |
