Milton Horn was born in the Russian Ukraine in 1906 and died in 1995. He came to the United States at the age of seven. Educated in Boston and New York, he made his home in Chicago, since 1949. He is a founding member of the Sculptors Guild and his sculptures and drawing have been shown in museums throughout the country. While living in New York City from 1927 to 1939, he executed a number of private and public commissions, one of the first being the carved ceiling of the Lentheric Salon (showing 500 of 3273 characters). |
