| Nathan Cabot Hale was born in Los Angeles on September 28, 1925. Hale studied at Chouinard Art Institute and Art Students League in New York. During the 1960s he taught at the Pratt Institute and later at the Art Students League. He was a resident of Amenia, New York in the 1970s where he still makes his home to this date (September 2011). His bronze sculptures are mostly abstract.
