| The following was submitted by Peter Harrell:
My adopted Mother, Florence Muriel Harrell (nee Hewton) was, apparently a niece of Otto Hewton. Her father, was a brother of Otto. I have a water color reputedly painted by Otto of Daisies in a vase. Family history (story?) has it that he only painted on commission and that he and A.Y. Jackson, of the Canadian Group of Seven studied together. This was mentioned by Jackson some years ago on an interview produced by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.
