Enlisted soldier, radar specialist, actor, Indian flute maker, flutist and jeweler are some of the occupations Phillip Haozous has had in his lifetime. Although he completed an apprenticeship in jewelry at the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe and even won awards for his silver, it was not until he began to sculpt that he found his true calling.
