Richard Hinger grew up with an avid interest in art and began his career frequenting the Carnegie Art Museum. He was the Art Editor of his Carrick High School Newspaper and painted all the backdrops for the school plays. During his four-year enlistment, he was a U.S. Marine Corps artist.
Although primarily self taught, he received some instruction from California landscape painter, Edward Silvey and had a short stint at the Los Angeles Art Center working as a mural painter in that city.(showing 500 of 931 characters). |
