Rosemarie Hahn was a 20th-century etcher and painter of landscapes and architectural themes. She was born in Halle/Saale, Germany and came to the United States in 1950 with her husband, Dr. Fred E. Hahn. They settled in Bethesda, Maryland.
In 1962, she joined Oskar Kokoschka's "School of Vision" in Salzburg and from 1968-1970 attended the Corcoran School of Art, Washington, D.C. where she studied graphics. She also studied etching and aquatint under Friedrich Meckseper 1982.
She is listed in a New York Art Review Book, "1988 Leading Artist's" and is represented by numerous American and European Museums and private collections. |
