Sandra Faulstich Harris has been recording the beauty of those around her nearly all her life. Born in the small farming community of Algona, Iowa in 1954, her rural roots are apparent in the warm compassion that illuminates her portraiture. Although she has had no formal training, her desire to paint was kindled early, and she began painting commissioned portraits in oil at the tender age of 14.
She made Woodland Park, Colorado her home in 1975 where she still resides with her (showing 500 of 1815 characters). |
