| | Born in Cincinnati, OH on Dec. 21, 1893. Hennessy studied at the Cincinnati Art Academy before moving to Oakland, CA in 1919. He continued his art training at the CCAC. While working in the automobile industry, he painted in his leisure. Upon retirement in 1956, he moved to Pebble Beach on the Monterey Peninsula where he remained until his demise on Feb. 13, 1971.
