|  Steven Heino was born in Seattle, Washington. Heino earned his M.A. degree at California State University at Fullerton. He taught at that school in 1978-1993 as well as at USC and Pratt Fine Arts in Seattle. He uses off-beat industrial materials to produce richly-layered hybrids of iconic imagery and abstraction. He currently lives in Seattle.
