Sturtevant J. Hamblin Act. 1837-1856
Sturtevant J. Hamblin worked as a portrait painter in Portland, Maine and, sometime around 1839, he was working in Boston, Massachusetts with his family. His facts are a little vague and can be confusing. His last name is sometimes spelled Hamblen and he is sometimes listed as L. J. Hamblin. His birth and death dates are also varied: ArtCyclopedia has 1817-1884, Dav (showing 500 of 4141 characters). |
