|  Susan Hiller first worked as an anthropologist and archaeologist in the United States before moving to London in 1973 where she began her work as an artist. Hiller's installations include writing, painting, performance, photography, video, audio, projections and found objects.
Hiller uses her art in relation to her knowledge of anthropology. She displays art and artifacts so that they may be viewed in a new way and seen differently.
