Thomas Cantwell Healy (1820-1889)
Thomas Cantwell Healy was born in 1820 in Boston to Capt. William Healy and Mary Hicks. He was their fourth child, and was to become the second child to make a successful career for himself as a painter of portraits. His older brother was George Peter Alexander Healy who became internationally sought after and was commissioned to paint portraits of (showing 500 of 5573 characters).
