Artist Statement:
If you stood in front of the house where I grew up, you could throw a
rock in three directions and hit corn. I was born and raised in a
small town in Ohio, where the countryside was dominated by corn fields,
pig farms and dairy operations. One of my best friends in high
school lived on a pig farm.
There was plenty of beautiful open
space as soon as you left the town limits, and it was all agricultural
land -- oceans of corn punctuated with ba (showing 500 of 2797 characters). |
