| | Born in Iowa on Dec. 16, 1851. By 1892 Hise had moved to California. She divided her time between Los Angeles and San Francisco until about 1905. She appears to have then settled in San Francisco where she remained until her demise at his home at 235 Broderick on Dec. 9, 1938.
