Biography from Butler's Fine Art:
| Wendy Hirschberg studied at The New York Studio School, The Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture (full scholarship) and received a Masters of Fine Art in Sculture in 1988 from Queens College, NYC. A collection of figural bronzes from the 1980s was inspired by a feminist-oriented period in the artist's oeuvre. Her recent mixed-media abstract sculptures employ wood, metal, vinyl and wire. The artist currently lives in Brooklyn, New York.
