| Hopper was born in Indianapolis, Indiana in 1935. He earned his B.F.A. degree from John Herron Art Institute of Indiana University in 1958. He studied watercolor with Charles Burchfield. At Florida State University he received his Master's degree in 1960. Here he learned encaustic painting from Dr. Karl Zerbe. He has taught and has been an artist/lecturer for the Indianapolis Museum of Art. In 1969 Hopper moved to NY City to paint full time. In the Sprin (showing 500 of 893 characters). |
