Known for his classical style and emotional content, HongNian Zhang
began his journey as an artist at the young age of 14.
Zhang won a coveted place in one of China's art high schools, the
Central Art Academy in Beijing, where he was trained in classical
painting. Zhang graduated from high school as the Cultural
Revolution began and was sent to work in the countryside. He was
fortunate to be assigned a job creating art in the countryside which
supported the Co (showing 500 of 1346 characters). |
