| | Born in New York on Aug. 12, 1879. Ingerson studied at the Pratt Institute in New York and with Marshal Fry. He moved to San Francisco in 1901 and taught decorative design at the Mark Hopkins Institute in 1909. He was a longtime resident of Santa Clara, CA and for 65 years a partner of George Dennison. From their studio came paintings, cabinetry, silver and gold crafts, leather work, interior decoration, enamels, and ceramics.
