| A painter of portraits and designer for Tiffany and Company, Henry Ihlefeld came to America from Germany when he was a child.
He studied at the National Academy of Design and Cooper Union Art School. He was a member of the Lotus Club and Salmagundi Club, and in the 1890s exhibited at the National Academy, the Art Institute of Chicago, and the Boston Art Club. |
