He was born in a small Russian village Soldato-Aleksandrovskoe near Stavropol on August 2, 1926. From January 1944 until September 1950 he served in the Soviet army and took part in the Soviet-Japanese war.
He studied at the Krasnodar Art College from 1950 to 1955. Then he entered the Leningrad Institute of Art, Sculpture and Architecture named after I. Repin in 1956, and graduated from it in 1962. There he trained under the well-known artist Mylnikov; his d (showing 500 of 1192 characters). |
