Albertus Eugene Jones (American, 1882-1957)
Albertus Jones was born on October 31, 1882 and lived in South Windsor, Connecticut. He studied under Charles Noel Flagg and attended the Connecticut League of Art Students. Jones was not only a painter but also an instructor of drawing and painting and taught at the Hartford Art School for 20 years and several other nearby schools and universities. He was a member of several organizations including the WPA or Works Progress (showing 500 of 5840 characters). |
