Biography from Michael A. Nickol Fine Arts:
| Bron, born in Chicago, studied at The Art Institute of Chicago, the Chicago, Academy of Fine Art, and at Southern Illinois University. He has also worked with Martin M. Katz, an artist and paintings conservator.
Bron is a former staff member of the Terra Museum of American Art in Chicago. His work as a restorer of antique picture frames and designer/maker of museum quality, hand-carved, ornamented picture frames may be seen in numerous museums in America, as well as in important private collections.
He has designed and manufactured frames for paintings by artists as varied as Ammi Phillips; Albert Bierstadt, Pauline Palmer; Georgia O'Keeffe, Ed Paschke, and Frank V. DuMond.
He is a painter in watercolor and egg tempera, a sculptor, woodcarver, gilder, and art furniture maker.
