Born in St Louis, MO on Sept. 27, 1893. After serving in WWI, Jarrett moved to Los Angeles where he taught at the Goldworthy School of Allied Arts. By 1926 he was studying at the AIC while working as a poster artist. He continued working in Los Angeles in commercial art until a fatal heart attack on Nov. 24, 1947.
