| | Born in Bloomington, IL on Oct. 19, 1867. Johnson studied art with William M. Chase in NYC and in Paris at Académie Julian under Constant and Laurens. She was a resident of NYC in 1933 and settled in Beverly Hills, CA about 1940. A spinster, she died there on Nov. 9, 1949.
