Jackson’s older brother, Charles, supported Frederick’s career bother with materials and finances.
Jackson showed interest in art as a young boy. Future architect, Edgar Wood and Jackson when on sketching tours. Studying under John Houghton Hague, Jackson attending evening classes at Oldham School of Art.
