| | Born in Fieldbrook, CA on June 6, 1908. Jepson was raised in Glendale and studied at Chouinard Art School and the AIC. He was an instructor at Chouinard 1935-41 and in 1945 established the Jepson Art Institute in Los Angeles. He was a resident of Palos Verdes, CA until his demise on July 2, 1993.
