| | Born in Missouri on Nov. 5, 1891. By 1911 Jacobsmeyer was a resident of Los Angeles. He worked as a title artist for the movie studios and authored The Tenth Muse (movies’ relation to the commercial artist). For 42 years he was a superintendent at Consolidated Film Industries.
