| | Born in Placer County, CA on Jan. 28, 1856. Ida Nichols arrived in Sacramento about 1869 and in 1876 married artist William F. Jackson. For more than 30 years she taught art in the Sacramento public schools. She died there on April 14, 1932. Member: Pacific AA; Calif.
