This biography from the Archives of AskART:
A student and follower of Frank Lloyd Wright, Jack Justice worked with Lloyd Wright, son of Frank and Bruce Goff, also a student of Frank Lloyd Wright. He showed much talent with his highly colorful, precise geometric designs, but his career was handicapped by his psychological problems.

Goff and Lloyd Wright, who had a design business together, encourgaged the career of Justice and hung his paintings in their offices in Los Angeles and Oklahoma and also placed them in buildings they designed.

However, Justice was institutionalized and treated with lithium therapy. By 1970, after years of sitting in a room, watching TV and chain smoking, Justice had completed portraits of three TV personalities - Johnny Carson, Olivia Newton John and Connie Chung. These were placed in the lounge of the mental ward.

Today (2003), his work is of interest to persons who like the style and subject matter of his paintings and also to persons who are afficionadoes of creative objects associated with Frank Lloyd Wright.
