January Jorgenson was born in Cedar Falls, Iowa, and is often found returning in the summer months to photograph the florals of her hometown that are often the source of her inspiration.
One of her greatest influences in her art was to see the works of the masters in Washington D.C. Smithsonian. At that time January was spending her time designing and painting ceramic pieces that were carried by a national chain store and by galleries. Oil painting had always been her real passion so as (showing 500 of 1304 characters). |
