A native of Utah, John Jarvis began painting professionally in the 1970s. His subjects include Western scenes, landscapes, sporting life, figures, and historical genre.
He earned a Master of Fine Arts Degree from Brigham Young University and exhibits at the American Watercolor Show and the Buffalo Bill Art Show as well as galleries in Scottsdale, Arizona, and Park City and Salt Lake City, Utah.
