John Humphreys Johnston (1857-1941)
Studied with John La Farge and Carroll Beckwith in New York. Associate member Societe National des Beaux Arts, Paris. Member, Paris Society of American Painters, Societe Internationale de Peinture et Sculpture, Society of American Artists, New York. Represented in Wilstach Trust Collection, Philadelphia, Carnegie Institute, Pittsburg. In 1900 his address was in Paris.
