The following was submitted by the artist in January 2004.
Karyn Janowski was educated at the University of Wisconsin, Madison with a Bachelor of Science in Art (cum laude). Professor Robert Grilley was a significant influence on the artist, who learned figure rendering through his classes at the university.
In 1979, under the direction of Chicago muralist Caryl Yasko, Karyn produced preliminary drawings and undertook the surface preparation and painting of the Whitewater Historic (showing 500 of 2586 characters). |
