Marcus Antonius Jansen was born in Manhattan, June 1968, and spent his early years in New York City.
In the late seventies, his parents decided to leave The Big Apple to settle in Germany where he spent his teenage years. Jansen found it difficult to adjust to his new environment because of growing up bilingual, speaking both German and English. That feeling of being torn between two worlds became a significant part of what his art reflects today, to bring both worlds to one platfor (showing 500 of 7255 characters). |
