Born in Seattle, WA on June 20, 1913, Mary Jarrett graduated from the University of Washington and continued her art studies at the Otis Art Institute in Los Angeles, Académie de la Grand Chaumière in Paris, and the Slade School in London.
Unmarried, she died in Los Angeles on Nov. 27, 1983. Her work includes portraits, landscapes, and Oriental studies.
